2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
As a high school baseball player I have the privilege every spring and summer to compete in the sport I love. As a high school catcher, I have an even greater privilege to compete every pitch. It is a challenge that I enjoy and hope to continue beyond high school at the next level. My attitude towards that competition has always been positive, has always been motivating and always been rewarding, both in success and failure. I will always work hard, always compete, every swing in the cage, every AB on the field, every pitch I receive, to succeed. Not only for myself, but for my teammates, my coaches, my family, and my school. God has placed a desire in my heart to play college baseball, and I am hoping to share that desire with a great school!

- I work with a batting instructor out of Hitters Edge in Sturgis, Michigan. Michael Marks has been training me in the off season every other week since I was 13. He is certified in the Epstein Method of hitting.
- General Baseball Training

- I worked for a season with a Minor League Pitcher in the Miami Marlins organization, Tanner Andrews. We worked on speed and agility, arm strength, catching and core exercises. A big part of my training was calling innings and pitch selection.

- I have worked this off season with the Pittsburg Pirates bull pen catcher, Jordan Comadena. We work a lot on receiving, decreasing my pop time, and defensive aspects of the game.
