My name is Foster McDonald. In my young 10 year baseball career, I have gone from a dirt kicking t-baller to a hardworking, dedicated, focused and determined LHP who seeks to get better every day. For me, the greatest thing about baseball is being around my teammates, working to achieve at a high level, encouraging each other, challenging each other, and performing for them on the mound. By nature, I am mild mannered off the field, but once I transition from the bull pen to the mound a hyper-competitive personality takes over, and my intense objective is to win.
It has become obvious to me baseball is a great life lesson sport, and to achieve at a high level one must work at a high level, getting better every day. I have also gained an understanding of team interdependence, my role (doing my job) and the influence I can contribute to others. As I move to the next phase of my baseball career, I am looking for an environment where I can develop physically, be nurtured by coaches/team culture, and sharpen my skill set to compete/contribute at the highest level possible.
I look to glean and apply these baseball attributes in the business world after baseball. My education interest are in Logistics/Business as I have grown up working in the family business of freight/trucks, or building a private equity business to buy/invest, grown small business’s.
