When it comes to playing baseball, has been a huge impact on my life. While playing baseball has taught me not only life lessons about teamwork, but it has also taught me a huge life lesson that hard work will always pay off. But the biggest lesson Baseball has taught me is that you must use your surroundings and the people around you to make it through the thick of it. I learned this because I grew up in a small town with less than 2000 people in the middle of Indiana. Using the people around me I have made it to a bigger organization in a bigger city that believes that I can play at the next level. However, not only has baseball played a huge role in the person I am today, but it has also played a huge role in how close I am to my family because it has brought me closer than ever to my dad and my grandpa who love to watch me play and give me constructive criticism to become the best player that I can be. On the other hand, baseball has also brought me closer to my mom and grandma because when they watch me play they tell me about how I can become a better teammate and overall a better person.
From playing in my front yard when I was five to playing all the time at the best travel fields across the Midwest at 17 I have never lost the passion to play the game with my teammates who have now become my best friends. Even when it is the off-season I find ways to play in multiple fall leagues and find a place where I can go and get taught about how I can become better.
My athletic goal for college is to find a school that reminds me of my family because they give me helpful criticism not only about baseball but also about life in general. I also want to find a college that has a coach that teaches their athletes to be the best person possible so I can make more best friends as I play the game.
Academically my goal is to either graduate college with a Master's in Informational Technology, or a Bachelor's in Informational Technology and another Associate's Degree in Science since I am planning to graduate High School with an associate degree in Science in Mechanical Engineering. In a baseball program, I am looking for not only a program that will push me to be good in school but also a coach who cares about his kids getting good grades.
I am looking forward to finding a college that not only believes in my present self but also believes in my future self to get better than ever. While also fulfilling my lifelong dream of playing college baseball and graduating college with a degree.
