Baseball has been my life since I was 5, and I cant say I have a favourite moment. I love every second I get on the mound whether its going well or not. I love the challenge of outthinking the hitter, beating him and sitting him down. I am super competitive and I don't play to lose. I have a never die attitude and this has helped me especially when I was cut from rep teams as a junior, I never thought about getting upset or quitting ,my mind was always on 'how do I get better '? I love the comradery of the team and hanging out with the boys. I also have been taught that looking after my health and body is important. My tennis coach instilled this upon me whilst making me do sprint interval's at 5.30am in winter when I was 10. He taught me to learn to 'love the pain', and it has stuck with me ever since.
I have had some great coaches who have taught me about commitment, patience, fearlessness and teamwork. and I am more of a lead by example kind of person. Some have said I have given up a lot by missing out on social events and even odd that I don't drink alcohol but I have always known what I've wanted from baseball and to see how far I can go with it.
I am ready for college baseball and I will be an asset athletically and academically to the school which I attend.
