Personal Statement
To whom it may concern,
I am from Queensland, Australia where I am completing my 1st year of university in the degree Sport Development. During this time I have easily passed all of my classes and have built great relationships with my peers and study groups. I am looking to finish this first year and then weigh up my options of either going overseas or staying in Australia. Therefore, if there is any interest, I am willing to chat and discuss opportunities.
I have consistently played in rep teams for the Gold Coast and have made it apart of the Queensland the past three years, second year u16's and both years for the u18's. I have the ability to play basically every position as for most teams, I have played a mixture of shortstop, the entire out field and have shown to pitch at a pretty good level at the u16 national championships. I am specifically a Centre Fielder, the position I have played well at in the Div 1 GBL Coomera Cubs side during the summer season in Queensland. I posted over a 300. average as a 17 year old in a senior competition over the first half of the season, however, outside priorities such as AFL, school and work distracted me and I was unable to play much of the second half. Furthermore, along with baseball I have played the sport AFL for over 7 years now, consistently playing hard as a leader and one of the better players on every team I've played for, displaying the athletic capabilities I provide for your program. Additionally, I am quite a good runner as I have posted around a 6-minute mile and have improved fitness since that trial.
If I am looking to go to a University in USA and hopefully afterwards pursue baseball further. Whilst participating in University I will study hard and organise my time well, as I already have experience with university study I will undoubtedly fit in easily to the uni-life and perform well both in class and on the field for whichever roster I am apart of.
Thank you for reading my bio,
