My name is Flynn Morrison and I am a Sophomore Catcher at Laney College, Oakland CA. I'm a well built athletic catcher (6'0" / 205lbs) that hit in the middle of the order at Laney College. I was nominated for the Sophomore California Community College showcase in January of 2020 and slashed .314/.412/.457 with 8 doubles, 17 RBI, 22 Hits in 20 games before COVID-19 shut down the season. I have also been nominated by the Coach at Laney College to be an All American for the 2021 season. I am a very dedicated and discipline athlete with the goal of performing at the highest level and am looking to take my skill set to a 4 year school in the fall of 2021. I am a leader on and off the field with the goal of getting the most out of my teammates and the program, I am motivated by winning and success.
I have currently completed my AA in Business Administration and had a GPA of 3.56 at Laney College. I am looking at majoring in Business Management, Economics or Finance. I understand the vitals of a quality education and view it as almost as important as playing baseball at the collegiate level.
I have also been recently selected to represent New Zealand at the upcoming World Baseball Classic in November 2021.
