Personal Statement
I'm an eighteen year old 6'4 RHP from Perth, Australia. I'm a confident, caring, talkative, sporty person that is very easy to get along with.
I've played sport all my life and loved doing so. I'm more of a team player than an individual, but can still play the role of a leader. I set myself goals and give one hundred percent into achieving them, thus the reason for my move to America.
I've always had the goal of becoming a "big league" baseball pitcher, so I'm doing whatever it takes to achieve my goal, even if it means leaving family and friends back home. I've chosen the college baseball route because I like the idea of playing high quality baseball in America, and being able to get a degree as well. I know that a career in baseball or in any sport doesn't last forever; you always need something to fall back on.
Experience:
Of my first year of baseball, I was selected to represent Australia in the U13 South East Asia Youth Baseball Softball Tournament (SEAYBST) where we won the silver medal.
I've been apart of six National Baseball Tournaments so far, winning two gold medals, two silver medals and two bronze medals for Western Australia.
When I was fifteen, I was contracted into the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) within the Institute of Elite Baseball. This is where a select few are chosen by the best baseball coaches in the state/country, and are trained to play baseball at the elite level.
