Throughout my life my passion for the sport of baseball has grown tremendously. I grew up watching my dad and major league games from when I was very young and I just fell in love with this game and never want to stop playing this game. From the day of my first tee-ball game to now baseball has become my life and from playing baseball I have learned a lot about myself through playing baseball. I learned that at times I have been physically and mentally weak on and off the field and I had to push myself to work past from what was holding me back to improve my game to the next level. I have had to overcome some different obstacles to get to where I am now, I have had to learn how to control the game from behind the plate at a young age. A great catcher can control the game, it has been instilled in me the past eight years to keep my composure so the rest of the team would look at me as field general. Some different academic goals that I have for high school are to have a GPA of 3.6 or greater all throughout high school, make honor roll every quarter, and finish in the top 5% of my class. For college I want to make the Deans List at least three of my years at college and I also want to maintain a GPA of 3.6 or higher. Up to this point in my baseball career I have not only been prepped to be a catcher but also a utility player so a coach can have me play wherever they need me to play on the baseball field.
