Baseball is a sport I have loved from an early age. I’m committed to hard work and discipline. I know if I’m not working someone else is, and I’m not ok with that.
Living in Iowa I do not have the opportunity to play baseball year around. However, I’m in the Iowa Sticks training facility daily. I am invested in personal physical development. My goal is to improve strength and speed in preparation of college baseball. Academically, I am a A/B+ student. Sometimes requiring more work, but appreciate that grades do come first.
I have been a utility player all my life. I began focusing on catching at 13u, but also keeping up on pitching and fielding to ensure I can be versatile on the field.
Long term, my goal is continue to play baseball at a school that is a good academic and athletic fit. I am not quite sure what I want to do yet in college, but have interest in Cybersecurity and Kinesiology. I look forward to what the future holds and seeing how hard work pays off.
