Kolin Demel '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kolin  Demel, I am a 6'’2”middle infielder in the class of 2020.  I am currently ranked 22 overall and the number 5 shortstop in Kansas.  While I always liked sports, baseball was different. I absolutely love it and work hard everyday to improve my craft. I currently play for the Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves during the school year, and Building Champions Baseball, during the summer and fall. I have been blessed to have a number of great coaches and mentors in my life that have taught me the value in never being out worked. My short-term goal is to play college baseball, while getting a quality education that will last a lifetime. I have a 4.3 weighted GPA, and hope to maintain this throughout my high school education. I am looking to major in either Exercise Science or Business. What I can bring to a team is that I play with the constant desire to succeed and get better.  I believe that working hard, being coachable and keeping an upbeat attitude will contribute to my growth as an athlete and team member.
