My name is Nathan Hower. I am from Pomona, Kansas, I am currently a sophomore at West Franklin High School in Pomona, Kansas. I am an A/B student and I'm interested in studying athletic training when I go to college.
As a Freshman, you do what it takes to play at the varsity level. I was always on the infield. My coach needed a second baseman so I stepped up and took that position. I started varsity as a freshman at second base. My sophomore year, I earned the starting second base position again. My freshman year I won Honorable MentionI. I led my team with on-base percentage, batting average, runs scored and assist.
Through my 2 years at the varsity level, I have learned how to respect my coaches and teammates, be a coachable athlete, and make myself a better person through the game. I hope to find a college that has both my athletic and academic needs.
