August 2016 Personal Statement
I began by hitting off a tee as a toddler, and I have been playing organized baseball since I was five. I am fortunate enough to have played on the same team for the last six years, which has given me great appreciation for team chemistry and continuity. In fact, team chemistry played a large part in our team winning the 14AAA Kansas State Championship in 2015, the highlight of my career thus far. I highly enjoy being part of a team.
I have always been a starting pitcher and shortstop. I love playing both positions, and I hope that I can continue in the future. This way I could continue to hit, field and pitch. I believe command is what sets me apart on the mound. I currently throw three pitches consistently for strikes, and I am working on a fourth. Any pitch, any count.
I am searching for the college that will fit my athletic and academic needs. I believe I have the talent to compete and succeed at the next level. By finding the right program, I am confident I can make an immediate impact.

- High school players come to the Exposure Camp to be seen by college coaches and our staff of college coaches come to the Exposure Camp to recruit high school players. This camp will give the attending players exposure to several college coaches from different colleges on every level including JUCO, NAIA and NCAA during their session at camp. The camp is open to boys ages 16-18 years old, but 15 year olds can attend Session #2. By limiting each camp to only 30 players, players are assured of individual hands on instruction, training and evaluations. Instruction will cover all areas of the game. All players will receive personal evaluations from both the staff college coaches and from a professional Major League scout. Seminars during the session will cover topics such as: strength training and arm strength building, nutrition, pre-season, in -season and off-season conditioning programs for players, and what a player needs to know about college recruiting and college baseball. This program is ideally suited for players who play varsity high school baseball and for players who intend to play college or professional baseball.
