Addison Brown '13 Recruiting Profile

I am going into my senior year at Lloyd Memorial High School in Erlanger, Ky. I am an athlete who loves the game of baseball. I have been a starting varsity pitcher for 5 years and was honored to be the first freshman athlete to ever receive the award for Best Pitcher from my high school and received the same award as a sophomore. Playing varsity at a young age has allowed me to compete at a high level and challenge my abilities and learn from others. Whether our team is winning or losing, I have fun on the baseball field. Im driven to succeed so I do get disappointed when I dont do well, but I always try to learn from those moments to become a better player. My teammates are like my second family and I am their emotional leader. Ideally, Im open to any size school, but I would like to attend an institution in the Midwest or Southeast that will give me the opportunity to get a great education and where I can play baseball all year. Im interested in a Sports Management degree or getting a degree in Communications focusing on video and film. On the baseball side of things, I want to play at the highest levels and challenge myself to continually improve my ability. I love to pitch and the feeling of competing against every hitter. I also love to play fielding positions (3rd base, outfield) and the opportunity to hit.
