Personal Statement
My name is Maddie Neary and I am a high jumper from Northern Kentucky. I am the state champion and placed 3rd at New Balance Nationals in 2019. Track is my passion and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get better. Although I’m grateful for the coaching I’ve received I jump mainly from ability. I see myself jumping 5ft 9in in the future or higher. My gpa doesn’t reflect my ability as a student, I realized it’s importance the second half of junior year. I began to take extra classes to raise it and even made the all A honor roll. I’m still actively working to raise it. I have big plans this season and I’m excited for my future in high jump.
