My freshman year was one of the toughest years for me as an athlete. My high school team didn't make the playoffs and we were really struggling but that taught me a lot. It taught me that if I was going to make it to the next level I was going to have to work hard and be a good teammate. Now everyday I work harder and harder so I can make it D1. My father always taught me that if you do something you love then do it like its your last time doing it and that's what i do with baseball.
What makes me a good candidate is my work ethic. My freshman year taught me that if I was going to help my team win a state championship I was going to have to work hard and get stronger and thats what I am doing each day. What makes me different is the fact that I'm going to give my all out of that field each play even if its practice I am going to play it like it's a game.
