Howard (Taft) Prince 2022 RHP is pleased to accept LSU’s Tiger Excellence Resident Scholarship for Data Science and Finance. “I would like to thank the coaches and programs that showed interest in me and offered me scholarships. A special thank you to Coach Jeremy Picard and my Team Louisiana family including coaches Andrew Hungerford, Jett Ube, Ty West and Thane Lanclos. My forever thanks go to Coach Revis Youngblood, my teachers at Providence Classical Academy who prepared me for further academic studies and pastors Corey Smith, Paul Haines and Joseph Hansen for a biblical world view. Last is my thankfulness to my parents, my family and teammates for all the lasting memories.”

I hope to benefit a college baseball program by securing an academic scholarship and contribute to the team. As in life we are called according to a purpose and I strive to be Christlike in my conduct on and off the field. It was instilled in me at an early age to show absolutely no emotion on the field and it has served me well in athletics. I attend a classical college preparatory school with an average ACT score of 29 and my GPA is 3.85.
