Cameron McMickens '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been training since I was 8 years old to be the best athlete I can be so I could play College Baseball. I played USSSA travel baseball at the Majors level from age 8 to 13. During those 6 years my travel team won State twice and the World Series at Omaha once. I played Center Field and LHP during my travel baseball. In addition, I usually was the lead-off batter for my travel team. At age 10 I won the overall Fitness Competition for Rapides Parish with 3 first and 2 second placements out of 7 events. I then competed at the Louisiana State fitness competition and came in first in the 600 yard run missing the state record by .02 seconds. I came in 3rd place overall at the Louisiana State fitness competition. The videos of the Rapides Parish and State Fitness competitions are on YouTube.  Summer of 2019, I played on the travel team Louisiana Legends 16u with Coach Richard Hebert. Richard Hebert was a pitcher for ULM. I finished the summer travel season with the following stats: PA 34, AB 23, Batting Average 652, On Base Percentage 764, 13 Singles, 1 Double, 1 Triple, 10 Walks, 1 HBP, 1 SO. I was also the lead-off batter for the Louisiana Legends. Several YouTube videos are available featuring me with the Louisiana Legends 16u baseball team.

I train daily to be the best athlete so I can help my team compete to win. Many of my training videos are on YouTube. My desire is to be a Physical Therapist and a college baseball player for a team that wants to win.
