Hello! My name is Jake Tyndall c/o 2020 and I attend Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, LA. I am part of my school's Engineering Magnet Program and my current GPA is 4.0. My goal is to attend a college that both fits my needs academically & has a spot available for me on their baseball team. I am presently taking classes in Engineering at my high school and would like to continue that in college, however I am open to looking into other subject and still have time to explore other majors. When it comes to sports, I was always taught first and foremost to play the game with a good attitude and sportsmanship & I feel that this is something that I bring to my team. Dealing with adversity in a positive manner seems to be the best way for me to overcome failures on the baseball field. I think this is extremely important when playing a game where failure is a common outcome. I love playing baseball, I love my teammates and coaches, and I love that my family is able to sit in the stands and support me every time that I step on the field. It would truly be an honor and a dream come true to be asked by a college baseball coach to play the game I love for another 4 years. My promise is that I will continue to work my hardest in the classroom and on the field to make that happen.
