Personal Statement
My name is Michael Woods, I attend Loyola College Prep in Shreveport, Louisiana, and I am the Ace pitcher for my team. We took the District championship as a sophmore and have a winning record thus far this year. I am a very effective submarine pitcher with great command of my fastball and slider. Since March 1, I have pitched in 10 games, compiled a 7-1 record with 48 Innings Pitched and a 1.17 ERA, delivering 47 strike outs. During this time I have allowed 29 hits, given up only 14 walks and held batters to a .161 batting average. Overall this season I have a 1.94 ERA. In the future, I want to pitch in college. I have a 3.5 GPA and a 26 ACT. Academically, I aspire to attain a degree in Engineering however in the case of that not being offered I would equally like a degree in Business.
