Owen Harper '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Owen Harper and I am from Lincoln, Maine and attend Mattanawcook Academy. I am hard working and have a determined mindset that always wants more. I think what separates me from other players is that I always want to compete, I always want to play the best baseball that I can find and to the best of my abilities. This year, for example, I had  a .412 AVG, 18 RBI, 10 SB, and helped my team make the playoffs, and I made first team all-conference, and won Gold Glove. I have a 3.7 GPA and I am predicted to be in the top 10 in the graduating class of 2025 according to GPA. I actually never was really big into baseball when I was a kid but my parents put me in a little league program to see how it would go. I was very below average until 8th grade year, I took a big jump in everything. I hit for more contact and power, I was getting better jumps on the ball in the field and I was getting better jumps on the bases, and my confidence was getting a lot better. And throughout the years those things just got better and better and thats what makes me who I am now.
