I've played baseball and soccer since I was 5 years old, and am proud of the fact that I've been able to do both at a competitive level (travel and varsity) through my junior year of high school. While I still love playing soccer, my passion for baseball has inspired me to pursue it at the collegiate level. For the first time, I devoted this past winter offseason exclusively to improving my baseball skills, and continued that effort throughout the rest of my junior year at Walter Johnson HS. I take pride in my baseball IQ and understanding of the game, and think it is something that sets me apart from other players. Between now and the summer of 2023 when I graduate high school, I will be focusing on improving all aspects of my game. I already have multiple tools that allow me to help my teams win, including solid hands in the infield, a reliable lefty bat, and great baserunning instincts.
I hope to find a college baseball team that I can contribute to in a meaningful way while developing lifelong friendships with my teammates. Just as importantly, I am looking for an institution with outstanding academics that allow me to expand my world view and explore new interests.
Thanks for reading.
