My coaches nicknamed me "Rain or Shine”, not only because I am a rink rat, but also because my most remarkable attribute is that I love playing hockey more than anyone on the ice; I simply love hockey. I thrive training and playing with a tight-knit, dedicated team; I adore the pounding of my heart in my ears and the excitement in my bones right before the game starts, I feel a euphoria at the idea of making the next game-saving snatch of the puck. I am so dedicated to the sport that, in order to help my family pay for it, I became a USA Hockey official, worked over 600 games, 25+ hours a weekend officiating, in addition to playing travel hockey. Although I do dedicate most of my time and energy to hockey, I also enjoy other activities: computer programming, practicing and teaching Aikido, and singing. The only thing I want to commit my life to, the only thing I dream for, the only thing that I am truly enamored with; is hockey. I will, eventually, play in the NHL, but first I want to play for your college hockey team.
