Personal Statement

When I stepped on the diamond when I was 8 years old, I knew I have a passion and aspirations to play collegiate Baseball, I knew playing collegiate baseball is once in a lifetime opportunity that will alter the course of my life in a significant way.

On the diamond, I'm a player that is coachable and very understanding, also I encourage teammates and I'm the hardest working player that you will ever see and will work to my fullest potential

In the classroom, I study and work hard and maintain a 3.5 GPA,

I want to attend a college where I can work hard on the field and in the classroom, I am open to all colleges and ultimately find the right college match for the highest competition possible

  • 04/07/2019 - College PREP - Bowie, MD Paul continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At the plate, he has improved his hitting / power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and works to the through a level swing path, creating extension. He shows a feel for the barrel and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Working to get stride foot down sooner to work on time will aid in improving hitting grade. At 3B, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active and aggressive as he attacks balls but needs to play through more with his body. Glove action is soft / clean but will benefit by presenting more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate and will improve arm grade as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

  • Paul is a solid, athletic 1B who will graduate in 2020. At the plate he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent hard contact through line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is soft / sure and he consistently showed the ability to pick balls out of the dirt. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls through a low approach. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. With 2 years to further develop, Paul has abilities with time and room to progress his game.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
