Josef Sneathen '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Josef Sneathen, a 17 year old athlete from Cumberland, Md who will graduate from Allegany High School with the class of 2024. I have been playing baseball for 12+ years and have played for many local and travel teams through my years. Primary positions on the Varsity baseball team include catcher, third base and utility.  A multi sport athlete for Allegany, I also play Varsity golf and am on the schools Mock Trial team.  I inspire to do my best on and off the field; especially in the classroom. Currently with a 4.28  GPA, my favorite subjects are History and Government.  I plan to major in law.  Other hobbies include Scouting.  I have recently advanced to Eagle Scout, and just finished my Eagle Scout project where my Troop & I built 4 dugouts for LaVale Athletic Association at their Holly Fields baseball and softball complex.  I am most motivated by my parents who follow and support me in all that I do in school, sports and scouts.  I am thankful to God for gifting me with my talents and intelligence to play ball, study and succeed at the higher levels.  I have played baseball my whole life, it is my passion.  I very much want to continue playing competitively in college and beyond.  I look forward to landing on a college field with a fine group of teammates who share the same competitive atmosphere I do along with a sound coaching staff, willing to continue to train and mentor all while having successful winning seasons during my time there.  Thank you in advance for your interest in my profile and considering me to continue my baseball career with your organization.  I look forward to speaking with you.
