Hi, I am a 17 year old, 190 lbs., baseball player from Odenton, MD, who plays 1st base, catcher, 3rd base and corner outfield. Currently, I wear a size 16 cleat and stand 6’1” but I am projected to grow over 6’3”. I started on Arundel High School junior varsity team as a freshman and helped lead them to a 19-1 recorded. This year, as a junior, I helped lead my varsity team to the State Finals by catching and leading the team in RBI’s. In 25 games between season and playoffs I had 46 RBI’s. In the summer, I play for the Gambrills Athletic Club (GAC), 18U Showcase Team. We play in the very competitive Showcase tournaments across the country and the World Scout League. For the past three seasons, I have been the captain of the Titans, played a consistent 1st base and been a constant in the 4 spot in the hitting lineup, batting over .425, averaging 1.5 RBI’s per game and an OBP of .520. My GPA at the end of school year 2013 was a 3.3. I was recently asked to play for the Rawlings Prospects National Team. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and field. I would like to pursue a university or college with an outstanding academic reputation. My ideal athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team and compete at the highest level compatible to my abilities.
