I started swinging a bat as soon as I could walk. From watching the Red Sox with my dad to playing my first little league game. My life has changed tremendously. I was getting ready for my freshman season just when Covid shut us down. The worst part about missing out on my freshman season wasn't just missing out on the field but also off the field. There's a lot of depth and action that goes on behind the scenes that no one really sees except your team. Growing up playing baseball in the East your playing time is limited. Ive gone through my struggles just like everyone else, but I always push myself to stay determined. Whether its during practice or games I always tell myself two things, see the ball be on time. Baseball is about creating a family within your team, always picking each other up and playing every game like its your last. Balancing academic and athletic practice growing up was a struggle of mine. As I matured with the game and even just life, I see the work I need to put in. So that's what i'm going to do. Competing at the highest level possible while achieving a high academic education is my goal, and I will do everything in my power to get myself there. I will take this off-season to make big jumps in my psychical appearance and athletic performance. I look forward for my next opportunity to perform with my squad on and off the field.
