Cole Roland '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cole Roland and I am from Duxbury, MA. I am a 6’2”/210 lbs RHP freshman at Thayer Academy. In 2014, as a freshman at Duxbury High School, I was on the starting rotation of the varsity team (I also play 1B). My record was 3-1 with 1 save, 41Ks in 34 innings and an ERA of 1.1. During the summer of 2014 I played for the Boston Prospects 18U travel team and I had 74Ks in 65 innings and an ERA of 1.28. Even though I live in a Northern climate, I play baseball year-round and practice indoors during the winter 2-3 times per week while at the same time playing football and basketball.  I work on my grades and I’ve attained a 3.73 (of 4.0) GPA my freshman year at Thayer Academy. I am a very hard worker and continually strive to improve my skills. I connect easily with my coaches and teammates and I want to play at the highest level possible while impacting my team and helping them to win.
