09/21/2022 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic (2024) Peter continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the plate he shows a squared setup and tracks the ball well with soft glove. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls out front. Receiving / blocking skills show as outstanding tools that will play well at the next level. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 1.98 with accuracy / on his throws. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. At the event, he was 5 for 8 with a sac fly. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Peter continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off a soft chest. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.08 with accuracy / carry (81 mph velocity) on his throws. Offensively, he continues to shine, displaying outstanding hitting abilities with well above average power potential through a squared setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation through a balanced approach. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball and shows a feel for the barrel, flashing gap to gap pop. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. With 2 years to further develop, Peter has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.
