I consider my self a pretty decent athlete even if I'm not a top pick for D1. I'm hoping to play Baseball in College because I'm just not ready to give it up yet. I love the sport, I've played consistently since instructional and I have worked hard practicing both with my teams and on my own with private coaches to develop my skills. I've played rec ball, AAU and elite leagues, as well as high school varsity and American Legion baseball.
I feel that one of my strengths is consistently good mechanics both in batting and throwing. I am also a pretty versatile player. While my preferences are LF and CF I have also been used successfully by my teams in the positions of pitcher, catcher, SS and 2B. I am a loyal team member, even when I have been on a team that struggles and I like to consider my self a leader by example, always showing good sportsmanship and a positive attitude. I know I need to catch up with my peers in weight, but I believe that my mechanics, skills and passion for baseball overshadow my physical stature.
