I'm currently in the transfer portal. I was a Freshman at RPI and played on the RPI team during Fall Ball. I'm hoping to join a new school and baseball program in the fall of 2024.
Baseball is my passion. I love the sport because of the way it’s played. It is both a mentally and physically challenging game. Baseball takes more than physical talent, but strategy, teamwork, and planning to be successful.
I am a dedicated student-athlete. I know how much work it takes to succeed at a high level, this includes putting in the time off the field and outside the classroom when no one is watching. I've overcome a learning disability to be an honor roll student. I set high expectations for myself and I know it doesn't come easy to play college baseball and find the right academic fit, but that is my goal!
My coaches and teammates can count on me to take care of my business and be a positive influence on my team. Baseball is a game of failure, so besides hard work and talent, you need a good attitude and confidence. At the same time, you have to be having fun while working hard. I like to be a positive influence on my teammates. My nicknames are MattyMo, Muscles, and Sticks (I wear #11) I also throw a nasty knuckleball if you are looking for a change of pace pitcher!
