My name is Jack Finch, class of 2024. I’m a 6’0” 190lb corner infielder with a 3.96 unweighted GPA and 91.5 mph EV. I attend Lexington High School in Lexington, MA. I’m the oldest of six with four brothers and one sister. In high school I take the most challenging courses offered and excel. In college I’m looking for a great education while playing high-level competitive baseball.
I have played baseball since I was a small child. I played a number of other sports over the years, too, including six years of travel soccer, but baseball is the one for me. Hitting my first home run in fifth grade cemented it. Now, I am the top hitter on my travel team and my high school team. I both hit for power and have a high on-base percentage.
I’d love to be able to play more baseball, but it’s tough in the Northeast, so I work on complementary activities. I love to lift and I run middle distance to keep in shape. I deadlifted 500 lbs my freshman year. I always knew that the weather keeps us indoors for much of the year. When we traveled to GA this past summer, I saw some spectacular baseball facilities I’d love to have regular access to. I work hard on my swing, my fielding, and my throw. I assure you I have the athleticism and work ethic to take advantage of every opportunity your school provides and develop into a top player for your program.
