Tyler Tedeschi is a 2023 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Plymouth, MA who attends Tabor Academy. Long and slender projectable athletic build, plenty of room for more strength. 7.06 runner in the sixty. Has aggressive actions in the outfield and comes to the ball hard, gets into his lower half well in his throws, long and loose arm action with more carry there as he gets stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight stance with a line drive swing plane, mechanics are simple and repeatable, pull to mid field contact, high average approach that he repeats well. Also pitched, works from a full windup with a high leg lift start, 3/4's arm slot with some downhill angle. Low 80's fastball topped out at 83 mph, works to the glove side corner very well with his fastball. Showed a nice ability to manipulate his breaking ball, threw both a slider and curveball with good feel and shape on both pitches. Knows how to pitch and creates swing/miss. Nice overall athlete who's future ceiling will be determined by how much stronger he gets. Good student. Named to the Northeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.

Tyler Tedeschi (2023, Plymouth, MA) Flashing some potential two-way ability, tossing two clean innings, working up to 82 while displaying a potential arsenal that could include three above-average pitches. With feel for a wipe out slider already, Tedeschi’s change-up showed some promise as he threw it for strikes as well. Generating a lot of whiffs, he totaled three strikeouts over his two innings. At the plate, showing some serious pull side juice and carry to the swing. Crushing a home run to left field in his first at-bat.

Tyler Tedeschi is a 2023 OF/RHP, C, MIF, UT with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Plymouth, MA who attends Tabor Academy. Recorded a 7.13 second sixty-yard dash time. Lean, athletic frame with well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary outfielder with athletic actions into the fielding process, smooth transfers into a well-maintained release and accurate throws with carry to the bags. Displayed good routes to the ball, stays behind it and works into a long, loose arm action to throw. Recorded arm strength up to 84 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher with an athletic delivery, good rhythm and tempo to his movements, and a loose whippy arm action. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 81 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Showed good command to both sides of the plate, displayed feel for three pitch mix and has plenty of room to add more velocity long-term. Mixed in a tight, late biting slider for strikes and a well-replicated changeup with some depth as his secondaries. Will continue to improve on the mound with more innings under his belt. Took part in the infielders portion of the defensive workout and displayed similar athletic actions in the dirt. Incorporates slightly deliberate footwork, a clean funnel out in front and the ability to change slots when necessary. Recorded arm strength up to 79 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide base with tight hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Line drive approach with ability to use the entire field effectively. Incorporates quick, strong hands to impact the baseball and flashes some power potential from gap-to-gap. Showed good feel for the barrel and advanced hand-eye coordination. Fundamentally sound prospect with legitimate two-way potential, offensive prowess and loads of upside on both sides of the baseball. Will continue to improve with additional strength and minor refinements as he matures. Good Student. Named to the 2021 Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Tyler Tedeschi: OF/RHP, (2023) Tabor Academy, MA. 6-foot-2, 170-pound athletic frame. Athletic at the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 92 mph. Begins in a wide stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, exhibits an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He created loud contact and found multiple barrels. Aggressive approach. Athletic his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 84 mph; has sure hands, a clean exchange, and athletic feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Above average on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed athletic balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 81-83 mph; had sinking action and command in the zone with sharp movement. His slider (69-70) showed in the zone control and sweeping action.

Top OF velocity at combine for class of 2021-2024 , Top Defenders , Exit velo 91mph, 60 yard dash 6.91 6-foot-2, 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. He had a great workout with us on this particular day. He ran a 6.91 sixty at the event. The frame is long and should fill out nicely as he progress in age. The approach in the outfield is appropriate as he moves athletically. The feet remain active through the fielding of the baseball and he threw 83 mph from right field to the plate at the event. The bat has an exit velocity of 91 mph. The setup is even in base and he displayed a toe tap as the front foot gets down. The swing is long and strong through contact with the baseball. The hands have good life and he should hit for power down the road. He is a legit prospect.
