Andrew Cloutier '20 Recruiting Profile

I'm an outfielder from Chelmsford Massachusetts, where i have just started my sophomore year at Chelmsford high school.  My academic goals for this year are to improve my grades from last year, and hopefully do good enough to take more honors classes next year.  My athletic goals for this year are to make varsity hockey, and varsity baseball.  For baseball my goal is to be a starter on varsity by the end of the season, but mainly to improve my ability on the field and become a better player.  My whole life, i have always been known for my hitting ability.  This past year couple of years i have been really focused on my defense, as well as to improve as a hitter, and keep striving to become the elite level outfielder i am setting myself out to be.   

I am looking for a school where I can achieve all my academic goals while at the same time have the ability to grow as a baseball player. Ideally, I would love to attend a D1 institution but I would like the opportunity to play as a college freshman so I would be open to all divisions. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process as my family will have a high need. I am willing to travel further to a school if the financial package covers a good percentage of my college costs.
