Personal Statement

I have started my college search and I am getting excited about going to school and playing baseball.

Some things that I think make me different and a great fit for a future college team:

Moved high schools in my sophmore year due to family issue. Taught me to make new friends, forced me out of my comfort zone, and adapt to a new school. All things I will have to do when I go to college.
I have a job as well as school and sports. In addition to my job, my family has a family business that I have to help with at times. It has taught me that hard work is important and to manage my time to keep my grades up and have a social life. I know I will need to continue this in college as a student-athlete.
I love baseball! I love being with my team and I love competing! I have always tried to help the younger guys the teams I have played on.

I look forward to college and I want to be a baseball player when I am there. I want to get a good education but also have great memories of my college experience.
