Mason Livezey '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mason Livezey. I am a 2024 student-athlete, I am a shortstop/middle infielder along with experience at third base. I attend North Middlesex Regional High School and this upcoming summer I will be playing for North County Post 129 American Legion. Last season as a Sophomore I played every inning for my High School at shortstop, I had a .944 fielding percentage along with a .327 batting average and a .350 OBP. At the end of the year I was selected by my coaches and opposing coaches to attend the Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association (MBCA) Sophomore Select State All-Star Game in Malden where I was my team's starting shortstop. 

My entire life I have always had to work hard and earn my positions on teams, I have never had anything handed to me, I believe that I can compete and have success anywhere that I end up. I've always gotten along well with my teammates and I think that I would be able to fit into any locker room I end up in which I believe is an important aspect of a winning team. I wouldn't consider myself a loud get in your face kind of leader, but throughout my whole life of playing I've always had the respect of everyone and a lead by example attitude even as a freshman on varsity. 

I know that I can make a difference both on the field and within the locker room of whatever team I play for in the future.
