Lukas Joseph '24 Recruiting Profile

                 Hello, my name is Lukas “Luke” Joseph. I am an enrolled student at Seton Home Study School located in Front Royal, Virginia. Additionally, I am a baseball player at the local public high school, Plymouth South High School in Massachusetts. I am a 4.0 student, and I look forward to finding a university that fits both my academic and athletic interests.

                As a possible career path, I have a passion to pursue a degree program such as emergency management, fire administration, fire science engineering or fire protection. This field would allow me to have a hands-on career to serve the public and potentially save lives.

                I have been playing the sport of baseball since I was four years old, and I have played on a variety teams including all-star town, AAU travel, club, high school, Babe Ruth, and American Legion. I have enjoyed playing many positions over the years, but have recently settled into a starting pitching role. When I am not pitching, I am typically utilized at first base or even as a catcher, which is where I primarily played before focusing on pitching. Strategizing within the battery is a challenge that I enjoy, and allows me to demonstrate my leadership.

                I look forward to my future development as a baseball player. I desire to reach my full potential both academically and athletically in college. I hope to pursue an opportunity that allows me to fulfill these goals.
