The reason why I want to play baseball at the next level is because I get to do something that I love and better my skills. The reason why I love baseball so much is because when I was little that was my very first sport that I ever played and it just stuck with me. I stuck with the position of catcher because I liked being the captain of the field along with the short stop. I lived for being on the field and seeing everything right in front of me and knowing I played a big role in the game. I also think that baseball would make me become a better person in life because of the responsibility, dedication and it also teaches you how to control yourself when things are not going your way for example like losing in a game or striking out. At his point I have not decided on the major I will be pursuing however welding has peeked my interest. I would like to consider majors involving math and science studies since those are my strong suits in school. Also, I like building things from scratch and enjoy the feeling of accomplishing the task at hand. I also want to further my baseball career and it would be such an accomplishment because I would be the first in my family to go to college with the honor of playing a sport. I know that playing baseball at the next level would be a lot of responsibility but I am ready to take on that challenge and pursue my life goals and dreams.
