I've been playing baseball my whole life, and when I was in eighth grade, I finally decided to pursue it. Since then, I've built my own batting cage, my own pitching mound, and practiced and trained almost every day to reach my full potential.
My current baseball goals for the future are to stay sharp throughout the offseason, and to find a school that will help me develop as a person, a student, and an athlete. After attending undergraduate, I plan on attending medical school.
As a player I’m fast, strong, agile, and explosive. I am very passionate about playing sports the right way. In the dugout I am always supporting my team and I am always giving it my all so my team can win. I have a calm demeanor, and that has helped me a lot in the batter's box. I can drive the ball to all parts of the field, and I never get nervous when I'm at the plate.
I am an excellent student. I currently have a 4.03 cumulative GPA while taking difficult classes and 8.5 credits worth of Honors classes in my sophomore year alone. So far, I have earned college credit for both AP courses that I took during my junior year, and I anticipate on earning more at the end of my senior year. In addition, I recently just retook the SAT and added 160 points to my original score to give me a 1330 SAT. I pride myself in my hard work in the classroom, and also in my academic integrity. I credit my good grades to my hard work, open-mindedness, curiosity, and also to my mom, who is a teacher.
I am raised very well by my parents, Alex and Angela. I am a gentleman, too; I do not use profanity, and I know the value of hard work. I enjoy spending time with my family and with my dogs.
My work ethic extends outside of classroom and the field; I understand that in anything you do, you get out of it what you put into it--I've been landscaping since 2018, I've worked at my high school's weightroom as a student-employee since 2021, I work at a golf course, and I've also been umpiring in the community since 2021. Working these jobs has taught me personal finance skills that I have already put to use to ensure that I have success as an adult.
