Blake Moran '26 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for baseball. At the mere age of one, I have had a baseball and bat in my hand.  My will to compete and play the sport I love the most is the source of my driven attitude.

My coaches tell me that my strongest asset is my work ethic. I am constantly setting goals for myself and working hard to reach them. One goal was to play on my High School Varsity Baseball team and as a 14 year old freshman; I was able to achieve that goal. That goal was attained by many hours in the batting cage, on the pitching mound, and many fielding drills.

I work hard year around on my baseball skills, participating in various camps, playing summer travel ball, fall travel ball, then the last several years participating in Little League. In addition to baseball, I have played basketball and football in my High School career, which requires conditioning and lifting in the weight room and have contributed to my athleticism.

I understand the importance to work hard toward athletic goals, but also the importance of academic goals. In the classroom I work hard to maintain my GPA and I am currently enrolled in Advanced Placement Courses. I have been accepted into a Sports Medicine Tech Center Program for my junior and senior year, which I plan to pursue in college.

I cannot imagine my life without baseball. My goal is to play baseball at the collegiate level where I can continue to do what I love the most and be a leader both on and off the field.
