Personal Statement
Not only do I live on the diamond, but I breathe it. I have been playing baseball for 7 years and I have loved it since I was a little kid and first picked up the ball. Not only do I pursue on the field, but I also do off of it in academics. I challenge myself in the classroom and push myself to be the best I can be. Baseball is the sport that I love and I want to keep playing it for as long as I can. I always keep calm on the field at all times and let nothing get to my head. I realize that baseball is a game of failure, and not everything is going to go your way. I go to the cages and practice 4 times a week in the offseason working on hitting, pitching, and infield drills. I will push myself to be the best player that I can ultimately become, because after all this is what I live for.
