Hi, I’m Leo Miksitz, I’m a switch hitter and play shortstop. I’m a 2023 graduate, and I live in Michigan. I hit 400 consistently the last 3 years. I’m a solid infielder. I currently run a low seven 60. In the next 6 months, I will be working hard to improve my metrics. I spray the field from both sides of the plate and most of my power is down the lines and in the gaps. I am a very level-headed player, I understand that there are highs and lows in baseball. I strive to be a supportive teammate and lead by example. My summer team is the Southwest Oakland Warriors in Michigan. We played many games in the Ohio Valley, Indiana, as well as Michigan. I also play Varsity for Northville High School, they have a good program and a rigorous offseason training program. I hope to play college baseball, and I’m open-minded about where I can play. I will also be graduating at 17 and would consider a redshirt opportunity.
I currently have a 3.6 GPA and my PSAT score is 1200, I am in the process of preparing for my future SAT. I am interested in science and understand a lot about mechanical machines. I can play the guitar and the drums, and a little bit of keyboard. Me and my brother, who is 12 and also plays baseball, like to go fishing and mountain biking in Maybury park near our house. I’ve been playing baseball for nearly my whole life and it is my biggest passion.
