Nate Corey '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Nate Corey.  This year I am a freshman (2019-2020) but COVID did not allow for a spring baseball season.  I played basketball all winter.  I was the guard for the jv team.  Next year I will be on varsity at my small school.  I started playing baseball at age 5 starting with tee-ball. I have been playing it for fun for my whole life, through our county recreation league (MRA Manistee Recreation Association). 

Now that I am in high school I am ready now to go the extra mile and get ahead of the curve for college. I have learned a lot about the world as I have gotten older.  Dedication has meant everything to me. I put dedication into everything I do especially in baseball, it pushes me to believe in every play and every second of each game.   I have mostly played first base and shortstop positions in the last few years.  I really like to be active and stay fit and healthy.  I am competitive, pay attention to details, and listen to feedback provided by my coaches or assistants.  I look forward to getting to play again soon!
