Aiden Reamer '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball since I was four and have always had a love of the game. I work very hard to be the best athlete, student, and person I possibly can be. It’s been a goal of mine for years to continue playing baseball at the collegiate level while I further my education. I am a strong competitor who is not afraid to leave everything out on the field and will do everything in my power to make myself and my teammates better. I attend Traverse City St. Francis High School, who’s baseball program has produced multiple collegiate baseball players at many different levels. As a freshman my high school season was lost due to the COVID-19, however I was able to play fall baseball for Michigan Maple leafs 16u, a team based in Livonia where we got to play in multiple tournaments in the Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Toledo areas, and we won a tournament championship. This summer I will be playing for the Michigan Maple Leafs again and am looking forward to a successful season there after my high school season is finished.

My athletic goals for this, my sophomore year, are to perform well enough on JV to be promoted to my schools varsity team while continuing to grow as a baseball player and a competitor. I would like to hold a high average while continuing to get stronger and continue hitting for more power as the season moves forward.

My academic goals for my second semester of my sophomore year are to record a 3.7 gpa for the semester and to raise my cumulative gpa (3.48) above a 3.5 and by my senior year i challenge myself to graduate with a 3.7 gpa. Going into this sophomore year I challenged myself to record a 3.6 for my first semester and I recorded a 3.66 which made me proud, but also made me realize that I am capable of more which is why I would like to challenge myself to keep improving.
