Kyle Richey '20 Recruiting Profile

I was four years old the first time I stepped onto a ball field. I can still remember the way I felt the first time I picked up a baseball. That feeling has never left me. When I was little I would sit at home with my glove on waiting for my dad to come home from work. Every day we would go outside and I wouldn't stop until I threw enough strikes to satisfy myself. I have always been taught to work hard, never settle and that nothing is ever given. Playing baseball at a college level has been my dream for as long as I can remember. I have made sure to maintain top grades throughout my academic career because I know college is not just about baseball, but it is a stepping stone in life that must be taken seriously.

I have had the opportunity to play among some of best athletes in the country. I have learned from them and from the amazing coaches that I have had over the years. I know that I can play baseball at a college level. I can guarantee that I will be the hardest working kid on the field and in the classroom every day. I have prepared my whole life to be a college player, and I have worked hard to reach that goal. I know I can bring leadership, exemplary character and an unmatched work-ethic to your team.
