My dedication to baseball began when I played tee ball at 3 years old. Baseball has been a part of my life for fourteen years and has made me well rounded. I’ve learned how to manage my time by having to organize my studies, work, and sports schedule. I also plan on completing my associates degree by the time I graduate high school. Baseball has trained me to have a high quality work ethic and how to set goals. I realize that baseball is not just showing up to practice, it's putting in the time and having the mental and physical drive to give my all.
An accomplishment I am proud of is my football team going to state for the first time in thirty-six years. I believe I was a part of changing the culture and overall desire of my teammates. Going to state for the first time in thirty-six years not only changed our team, but also my school and community by bringing everyone together. Being a part of a team made me very ambitious not only in sports, but in aspects of life as well. With that being said, I look forward to my future.
