Hello, my name is Jack Arndt. I live in Coon Rapids, MN with my parents, Mike and Tara, and my little sister, Kennedy.
I am currently a senior at Coon Rapids High School where I participate in the Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program. This is my second year attending Anoka Ramsey Community College through this program. By the time I graduate high school, I expect I will have completed 50 college credits.
In my spare time, I really enjoy playing baseball. I currently play for three different teams including the Coon Rapids High School team, Coon Rapids Legion Post 334 team, and a club team based in Chanhassen, Minnesota Millers. During the off season I dedicate my time to training for baseball at least 3-4 times a week. Training consists of throwing velocity, hitting mechanics, and weight lifting.
I also have a part-time job working at Topgolf, I have been employed as a Food Runner since September of 2018. I work there 2-3 times a week when my schedule allows.
In order to be successful and balance school, baseball and a part-time job, I have learned to become very disciplined with my time and energy.
While I am still exploring career options, I am leaning towards the field of exercise science. My love of baseball coupled with my interest in exercise and nutrition makes think this is a great field for me to focus on.
