Hello, my name is Joseph Guertin. I am 5'8" at two-hundred and twenty-five lbs. I will graduate as apart of the class of 2022. I play most positions on the field but, my typical positions are third base and pitching. I was the designated hitter for my junior varsity team. I am a contact hitter and I try to move my team forwards on the bases and off the bases. One thing that makes me a unique pitcher is I can consistently switch between typical overhand and sidearm which gives me an advantage against hit because I'm this day and age hardly anyone throws sidearm. I have put myself out there even after an injury, and I am a complete team player. In my first summer season at Century Senior Highschool, I broke my hand. I strive to help those on my team while getting better myself. I attend Century Senior Highschool in Rochester, Minnesota. In the past few years, my main goal has been to do well in classes and play baseball. I take mainly honors classes as of right now. As of next year will be taking six college courses at Rochester Community and Technical College. Looking to play one of my favorites sports since I was a child, going to a great school is all that one could ask for as a student and an athlete. The Highschool in which I attended for my freshman year was Key West Highschool. There I learned what the true meaning of teamwork meant. Even through the highs and lows of the team, to be a team meant that you must work through it together. It would be an honor for you to allow me to try for a spot on your team. Thank you greatly.
