Personal Statement

Hello,

My name is Max Robinson, and I am a 2024 graduate.

I am a 2022 PBR Future Games catcher and two-sport athlete with a tenacious appetite to compete and excel at the highest level possible for me. My dedication to improved performance both physically and mentally helped lead our Rogers High School varsity baseball team to the 4A Minnesota State Tournament and winningest record in school history in 2021.  As a freshman and starting varsity catcher for Rogers, it was an honor to play for and compete with my coaches and teammates.

Over the past six years, I received several honors for my baseball performance. Through travel and club baseball, I received six Game Day MVP and Gopher State Baseball All-Star selection awards. I was named by PBR as the Minnesota Top 3 catching performer in both pop time and velocity categories for the 2024 class. I was also humbled and honored to be selected by my Rogers High School varsity teammates as Most Improved player for 2021 followed by an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection and 2021 4A All-Section Team honor.

Though individual performances are gratifying, what I enjoy the most is competing with fellow teammates and sharing success together. As the youngest member of our varsity and Legion teams, I learned a lot from my team and coaches:  get good grades, keep my emotions in check, provide leadership through action, never stop learning, get back up when I fail, and be the best person I can be.

When not playing baseball or basketball, I enjoy walleye and bass fishing in the spring and ice fishing in the winter with friends and family. New land just an hour away will soon provide good ATV riding and seasonal hunting.

I appreciate you taking the time to learn a little more about who I am and who I am striving to become. Hopefully, my foundation aligns with others that have helped make your program a success.

Regards,

Max Robinson
