Parker Stennes '13 Recruiting Profile

I bring to a team leadership, a good work ethic, accountabilty, and a desire to win.  Playing college baseball is at the top of my priority.

I just finished as a junior at St. Louis Park High School, Minneapolis, MN. I am 6'-0, 190. I have good speed, and have been told I have a good build for baseball. I have power, but mostly have shown to be a singles and doubles hitter.  That is one thing I am really hope to improve going into my junior playing season (2012). I have very good range throwing in from the outfield. I'm currently hitting mid to upper 70's on my throw from the outfield. I am looking to get it up to mid 80's by next year. 

I play for the St. Louis Park High School varsity squad during the spring. During the summer I play St. Louis Park Senior Leigon. I have also done winter and fall traveling team. In fall of 2011 I played for the University of Minnesota Seibert Fall Ball League. 
 
I also play varsity quarterback on my high school football team.  This holds alot of responsibility that can translate into my play on the baseball field. 

Ultimatly, I want to go to a school with a good education, and a top athletic program. I have not yet researched out about exactly where I would want to go to school, but if I could find a place in the Midwest with the qualities I mentioned that would be preferred. I want to go to a D1 or D2 school. However, I like the feel of a small school.  If a large D1 school offered me the opportunity to play for them that would be a dream come true. 

Baseball has been a huge part of my life since I started in youth ball.
