I am going to be an upcoming senior who has been competing in travel ball since I was 8 years old. I have been on my high school varsity team starting since the end of my freshman year where I played in right field. My sophomore year I batted a .364 AVG the second best on my team with a .562 OBP while driving in 18 runs and scoring 27 times on the pitching side of things I went 4-2 with 38 innings pitched the most on my team and a 3.13 ERA while recording one save. The summer in between I played for 3 Summer teams. This past year my junior year I batted with an AVG of .304 and an OBP of .412, pitching I went 3-1 in the regular season with a 1.89 ERA with 35 innings pitched. While being fifth in my class for juniors in strikeouts (per MaxPreps). I play anywhere in the field as I am considered our utility player. My team has been very competitive in the playoffs every one of my years we just haven’t pushed through to that breaking point. Next year I hope to push my team past that breaking point and go to the state tournament. If any coaches are reading this I want you to know I am not only going to do my part on the field to help my team, I am going to put in my work in the classroom as well.
